History

Four Seasons Wine and Indian winery was founded in 2006 in Bangalore. Here wines are created from the vines cultivated around Sahyadri valley located in Maharashtra. Four Seasons makes red, white, and rose wine varieties, and Zinzi and Four Seasons are their brand names.

Four Seasons vineyard is situated in Baramati, nearly 65 km from Pune. It is in the middle of the Western Ghats, close to Rotti village. The vineyard is on fifty acres of land.

The four Seasons company uses Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, and Merlot grapes to make red wines, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Viognier grapes for making white wines, and Rose wine.

The Western-Ghat climate is the most suitable for cultivating French Grape Varietals. The controlled cultivation of vines ensures an excellent concentration of flavors and a well-rounded palate structure, making every wine unique.

It is red wine and deep purple. 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Shiraz varietals are used to make this wine. It is a dry and complex wine with a beautiful touch of crushed blackcurrant, spice mix, and flavors of Vanillin with a hint of mint. It offers rich, fruity notes with high integrated tannins on the palate.

It is best to serve it at 18-200 C. With slow-roasted ham, tenderloin, lamb rack, and roasted veggies; one can enjoy it.

Four Seasons Barrique Reserve Shiraz

Four Seasons Barrique Reserve Shiraz is a red wine crafted from 87% Shiraz, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3% Viognier grapes. It’s pinky-red, dry, full-bodied, and complex wine. It contains intense notes of ripe blackberry with some spices. On the palate, it offers smoky solid, and earthy aromas.

It is tasted the best when served at 18-200 C. This wine goes the best with herbed duck, charcuterie, barbequed red meats, and grilled veggies. Mature cheeses can also be paired with Four Seasons Barrique Reserve Shiraz.

Four Seasons Cabernet Sauvignon

A deep-black & cherry-colored red wine Four Seasons Cabernet Sauvignon, is a dry and full-bodied wine. This wine is crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. It contains intense aromas of blackcurrants, and crushed berries, with touches of vanilla and smoke. It is well-developed with an excellent concentration of tannins. It has a lingering finishing.

It is best to be served at 16-180C. Barbequed cuisines, steaks, medium spicy Indian, and International items are best paired with Four Seasons Cabernet Sauvignon.

Four Seasons Shiraz

Four Seasons Shiraz is a full-bodied red wine made from Shiraz grapes with moderate complexity. It is a dry and dark ruby red with the color of black cherries and offers lovely notes of spice, smoke, and a delicate touch of violet. This wine is rich with excellent spice aromas and has a sweet, velvety tannins finish.

It is best to be consumed between 16 to 180 C and goes the best with barbequed dishes and any Indian dishes.

Four Seasons Merlot

Four Seasons Merlot is an excellent red wine created with Merlot grapes. It combines ruby red and garnet colors that contain delicate ripe black fruits flavors, particularly plums. This wine is a medium-bodied wine with mild tannins and excellent lasting finishing.

It tastes the best when served at 16 to 180C and can be paired with medium spicy Indian cuisine, roasted lamb, etc.

Four Seasons Chenin Blanc

Four Seasons Chenin Blanc is a white wine created from Chenin Blanc grapes. It is off-dry and has a slightly sweet taste. It is lemon-yellow in color with a touch of gold, transparent and clear. It contains lemon peel, sweet apples, banana, and guava flavors. This wine is easy to have, and its crispiness and acidity balance the sugar contents. This wine has a smooth and pleasant finish.

It is best to be served at 8 to 100C. Green salads, light fish, chicken items can be served with this wine. It can also be served with medium spicy Indian and Asian items.

Four Seasons Sauvignon Blanc

It is a white wine crafted from Sauvignon Blanc grapes. It is dry, marvelous, transparent, and pale straw. It is highly refreshing with flavors of gooseberry, melons, capsicum, and savory herbs. On the palate, it is refreshing and offers a ripe taste of fruits.

It can be enjoyed the best when served at 8 to 100C. This wine tasted the best when served with green veggies, salads, fish, and seafood items. It can also be served with tomato-centered sauces and items containing veggies and herbs.
